CameraPOS ("we", "our", or "us") is a camera-based point-of-sale application for Kenyan businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the CameraPOS mobile application on iOS or Android.
By using CameraPOS you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Used to process M-Pesa STK push payment requests. Your M-Pesa shortcode and customer payment references are transmitted to Safaricom to complete transactions. See the M-Pesa Privacy Statement.
Used to manage in-app subscriptions on iOS and Android. Your app user ID and purchase receipts are shared with RevenueCat to verify subscription status. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Used to deliver password reset codes via email. Only your email address and the one-time reset code are shared. No other data is transmitted.
Camera: CameraPOS uses your device camera to scan and photograph products. Images are processed by our secure AI vision API for product identification and immediately discarded. We do not store, share, or use camera images for any other purpose.
Storage: App data including your inventory and sales records is stored locally on your device so the app works offline. This data is synced to our servers when you have an internet connection.

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. Sales records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in compliance with Kenyan tax and accounting regulations. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Your Rights below); compliance-related records may be retained after deletion.
